You must remove this DNS entry from this server

I have created an account in my whm and then i terminated that account, by mistake i checked on Keep DNS Zone. Account was terminated and deleted from WHM. But after that i tried to create that account i get this below error. (XID g5q8ze) A DNS entry for "example.com" already exists. You must remove this DNS entry from this server or all servers in the DNS cluster to proceed. Anyone can help me to resolve this issue please?

  Go to WHM -> DNS Functions -> Delete a DNS Zone and remove the zone.

  I have check there is i can't see that domain in Delete a DNS Zone

  Is the domain's zone present in /var/named/
  ? Do you have a DNS cluster in place? If so have you ensured that the DNS zone is removed from the other servers in the cluster?

  Wow for me this was complicated.

  1. I couldn't find the DNS in the Zone Editor either.

  2. On one of my nodes it was reported a server in the cluster was offline.

  3. I restarted DNS on said server and the cluster came online. I saw lots of PowerDNS issues with missing .db files, a lot of domains we didn't host anymore.

  4. I touched some of those files.

  5. Then I could see it in Zone Editor, and then I could delete it.
