cpsrvd-ssl high CPU load

I've started randomly getting CPU load warnings from my host and after checking the historical graphs I can see it jumped up a couple of weeks back, almost all the additional load is down to the cpsrvd process and I have no idea why its suddenly happened. Everything is up to date and there doesn't appear to be any brute force login attempts going on either. Does anyone have any ideas or can they give me a steer how I can find out what the process is actually doing? Thanks!
