Backup not available in WHM

Greetings, I log in with the administrator account on WHM and the backup feature is not there. The person with the root access says that backups are enabled, yet we don't see the backup option - and we cannot restore any websites when something goes wrong. Can someone point me into a direction to look?

  Hi, Only root has access to the backups. Some web hosts enable other functionality to share access but they are third party plugins which you would have to contact your web host about. The original/vanilla installation of cPanel does not provide non-root WHM users access to backups.

  The only instance in which a reseller would have access to backups is if the reseller was granted root privileges - your provider needs to configure backups for the accounts or your account holders would need to make manual backups using Backup Wizard tool in cPanel.
