A License check appears to already be running.

I'm running CENTOS and using godaddy vps server. I recently ran into issue where i cannot launch my cpanel. I get an error that I have an invalid License File. Incorrect authority delivering the license. I'm attempting to run the following command but get an error. I use pgrep and ps -aux and I dont see cpkeyclt running in the background. What can be the issue? $ sudo /usr/local/cpanel/cpkeyclt Updating cPanel license...Done. Update Failed! Error message: A License check appears to already be running.

  Try killall cpkeyclt If the problem does not correct, restart the server and try again.

  I would second the advice given by @vacancy and if you continue to have an issue I'd suggest opening a ticket with us.
