What programming language do you prefer when integrating with cPanel & WHM?

A cPanel & WHM custom integration or extension can be written in any language supported by the Linux environment. Which language do you prefer to use and why?

    We use PHP for all cPanel, WHMCS, Plesk, and APS extensions. Probably because most of our API is written in PHP. Curious to know what "Other" entails.

    Curious to know what "Other" entails.

    Our polls can only have so many choices, and there are so many languages available out there. Hopefully whoever voted "Other" can provide what language they prefer.

    Absolutely not used for running commands in the Linux environment. Running scripts in the heart of Linux will require Python. it's true?

    I think you might be missing the point about the poll, additionally, you can also use bash or sh for running stuff on Linux, and does not rely on Python ;)

    Python's strong role in Linux cannot be overlooked. Tastes are different and opinions are respected. :)

    I like PHP very much. But I can use Perl/CGI. I would also like cPanel for Windows Poll maybe.

    I prefer PHP. I think it's a one of the most (if not the most) used langages so many would benefit from that. Also, considering that cPanel's ecosystem is mainly programmed in PHP, it may simplify things.

    • Go - Not a Language never insult me like that again ("Im a Penguin 4 Life") and a Dragon if you make me ARCH
    • Rust - Cool AF Made me look at .net Like wTF I been doing all my life
    • .NET (C#, C++, etc.) < -- Rust New Lil B in CagedFS..
