Customers attempting to install the the Let's Encrypt" plugin on cPanel & WHM version 82 or prior on the dates above may encounter the following error message: [QUOTE]Failed to load information for the AutoSSL module "LetsEncrypt": Cpanel::Exception::ACME::Protocol/(XID 123456) The ACME function "acme-v01.api.letsencrypt.org/acme/new-reg" indicated an error: "Account creation on ACMEv1 is disabled. Please upgrade your ACME client to a version that supports ACMEv2 / RFC 8555.
We do not have plans to backport support for Let's Encrypt" ACMEv2 to cPanel & WHM versions 82 or prior. To workaround this error message, you'll need to continue using cPanel (powered by Sectigo") as your AutoSSL provider. Alternatively, you can upgrade to cPanel & WHM version 84 (support for Let's Encrypt" ACMEv2 is available as of cPanel & WHM version 84). Let us know if you have any questions. Thank you.
