cPHulk Brute Force Protection
I am getting this annoying warning each time I press "Remove Blocks and Clear Reports" from the History Reports on cPHulk Brute Force Protection.
[QUOTE][iptables] /sbin/ip6tables --list-rules cphulk failed: FATAL: Module ip6_tables not found. ip6tables v1.4.7: can't initialize ip6tables table `filter': Address family not supported by protocol Perhaps ip6tables or your kernel needs to be upgraded. : The subprocess reported error number 3 when it ended. at /usr/local/cpanel/Cpanel/IpTables.pm line 415.
I have a Virtuozzo dedicated server with GoDaddy and they couldn't provide any help. Is there a way to fix it? Since it started a few versions ago and I have been waiting for future cPanel updates to see if its resolved, but this annoying warning still going on!! I'm attaching a screenshot bellow: also, another annoying warning would be this yellow box in the header saying: Filesystem quotas are currently disabled any way to resolve it from a Virtuozzo dedicated server? any help will be fully appreciated.

This is an issue with the ip6_tables module. Typically this is an issue associated with the kernel needing to be updated, unfortunately, on Virtuozzo servers, you do not have the ability to update the kernel from your container, this is something the hosting provider would need to do. 0 -
GoDaddy doesn't wanna update the kernel.. is there any way to just disable the ipv6 module and keep the ipv4 as default? 0 -
Hi @jrxpress I'm sorry to hear that, because that module is built into the kernel you wouldn't be able to disable it and it's being called by something built into the cPHulk software. 0
