Replace MariaDB with MySql?
Is there a guide (if its possible) how to replace MariaDB with MySQL on a cpanel VPS?
My VPS provider installs MariaDB by default. I can re-import the databases, so I don't mind losing anything, but I would prefer having the VPS and Cpanel using MySQL. Is this possible to do? Are there any guides for this?

Downgrading to MySQL once you are in MariaDB is not a supported operation. Best bet is to have them give you a new VM with MySQL installed instead and migrate your sites. 0 -
@GOT is correct there is no supported path from MariaDB to MySQL - but since MariaDB is a drop-in replacement for MySQL there shouldn't be any issues with utilizing it instead of MySQL. As noted already the best option would be to provision a server with MySQL already. 0
