Separate backups on 2 drives?
Hi,
I have a problem.
I run backup 3 times per week and on the backup drive the free space is 78% but when a backup is running it goes to 95% and backup fails.
Is it possible to separate these backups between 2 drives on the same machine?
Or run pre-backups files on a different drive and then copy the backup ready files on the backup drive?
Thank you!

Hi @masterross Unfortunately, there's not an option available with the Backup Configuration that would do what you're requesting. Right now the only option would be to increase the amount of space you have available or the amount of backups present/modifying the configuration. There is a feature request for something like what you're requesting already here: 0 -
You mean the occupied (not free) space is 78% => 95%? That's a pretty high ratio to keep. My rule is less than 50% occupancy at all times. Otherwise, run into all sorts of issues like this. On AWS EC2 instances, what I normally do is I mount a secondary EBS at /home2, and put accounts in there, so I can increase the HDD sizes separately from the OS/MySQL portion + website files portion. 0
