Permissions cannot be changed

Hi, I have a problem changing the permissions for files and folders from C-Panel. Even if they change it, the number changes, but when you see, the permissions has never changed. As if there is supreme protection from whm?? How can we fix the error?

  Hello, The only thing that might do this is file protect. You can modify whether or not this is enabled within WHM>>Server Configuration>>Tweak Settings Documentation on it can be found The EasyApache 4 FileProtect Option - EasyApache 4 - cPanel Documentation

  If you would not like file protect to change the permissions of the file you can disable it. I would suggest reading the documentation prior to making your decision though.
