mod_lsapi and permissions!

Hi, we recently switched from DSO to mod_lsapi provided by EA4, but now half of scripts do not work because of permission, any script that wish to write now require 777 to be set on folders etc. How can we fix this, 777 is not secure, how to use old permission system like with DSO ?
