Disk Reporting Disparity

In WHM my /newssd disk is using 80%. However I'm getting critical usage EMails saying the disk is at 88%. What gives? z

  What is the email saying exactly?

  The context of the email would be useful as noted by @quietFinn, It also could have been that at the time of the email the disk usage was at 88%.
