redirects file information
Hello.
From what I have read, the redirects page on cpanel grabs the rules from all .htaccess files from all configured domains.
Is there a way to identify in which .htaccess file the redirect rule belongs to?
Thank you.

The redirects interface places redirect rules into the .htaccess for the domain you're modifying the redirection for. It's typically placing these rules in the document root directory of the domain you're making the modification for. For example if you have a subdomain which has a document root of /home/$user/public_html/subdomain/
the .htaccess redirect rules will be placed in/home/$user/plublic_html/subdoamain/0 -
Thank you for you reply. I just tried: -clicked in domains; -clicked in the "manage" button of one of my subdomains; -clicked in the "modify the redirects" button; Got send to the redirects page with all redirects listed. Can I filter the redirects based on the subdomain? Can I set a column in the redirects page that shows where that redirect (location of .htaccess) is being defined? Thank you. 0 -
You can sort by any of the fields present in "Current Redirects" near the bottom of the page. You cannot customize the fields but the location of where they're being defined is in "Directory" 0
