eximstats meaning of some special charater

i use this for showing exim log /usr/sbin/eximstats -h0 -nr -ne -byedomain /var/log/exim4/mainlog
But the out put have some weird character like <> and groupname, what does it mean ?, does anyone know about it, thank you.
