HTTP works but not HTTPS, tried reinstalling server

Hi all! I have a really frustrating problem. Recently my HTTPS stopped working. I can access files like png images on http level but when trying https I get timeout. I thought maybe something with the SSL so I went aehad and bought a paid SSL. Changed in cpanel to the new but did not work. In the end I figured maybe something is wrong in WHM, I did do some kind of update in WHM and after restarting WHM it went bad. I backed up files and databases and reinstalled the whole server. Added autoSSL that I had in the beginning when it worked. Still the same problem I just don't understand the problem I am facing now and it's really frustrating Any pointers?

  Did you install a paid certificate properly? Install SSL Certificate cPanel 11

  Hello, reinstalling the server wouldn't resolve this issue, what happens when you access a site over https?
