Using CPanel as smarthost for other email server
Hello,
I was wondering if I can use a CPanel server to send emails from another CPanel server
whose IP is in blacklists.

sure you can ( but if your other server got blacklisted you may get 2 servers IP's Just fyi) 0 -
You can do this, but as @dalem suggested you should be cautious. 0 -
I did setup 2 servers using the indications of these link Fortunately they are working fine, however in one of them I had to reset the EXIM configuration to default settings because it already had setup a manual route. I wish I would have done this only changing the manual router setup. Is this possible? You can modify the manual router at any point by either editing /etc/exim.conf.local or modifying the setup in the advanced editor for the exim configuration. 0 -
What I did was to take a EXIM configuration backup from the server that is already working with the smarthost and restore it to the server I wanted to configure. Unfortunately it seems to be not working. Something I tested is making a telnet connection to the port 587 of the smarthost from the problematic server and it seems to be working, so I don't know what may be the problem. 0 -
That could potentially leave a lot of loose ends, I'd suggest allowing our analysts to take a closer look. Can you please open a ticket using the link in my signature? Once open please reply with the Ticket ID here so that we can update this thread with the resolution once the ticket is resolved. Thanks! 0
