Apache Workers stuck on "W" Sending Reply

Hello , I have a problem, when I log in to my WHM account and I look into "Apache Status" I see a lot of "W" stuck, here are screenshots of my WHM "Apache Status". Are there solutions to how to make improvements regarding this matter? Considering I was new to the server and immediately found a problem like this, it made me a little confused where I should start. Any help will be appreciated.

  Hello, The section right below that will give you an indication of the hosts that are connected, the M column will display their current status with the server. If that's all the same IP address you may want to investigate the legitimacy of it, same if it's all occurring for the same script.

  based from what i see from my apache status the whole process is stuck with a different ip and with a different URL (please tell me if I'm wrong), here is the screenshot.
  I have tried to contact my hosting provider, and according to them that this is because I am getting a DDoS attack. is it true that I am getting a DDoS attack or something?
