Anybody got any advice please? At the moment it's looking like quite a task, but I'm sure there is an easy way as it's cPanel to cPanel - I just can't see it...

This is actually a little complicated, only in the sense that you can't use any automated tools for this. cPanel backups assume the user will be moved, not that you will be only moving domains. The only way to to do this would be to do something like the following:
    • On source server create a backup of the sites from cPanel>>Files>>Backup Wizard
    • Create the addon domains on the destination server
    • Upload the backup to the destination server
    • You can use the filemanager to extract the backup
    • Manually move the site data to the document root of the corresponding addon domains and ensure UID/GID is correct
    • Create the databases
    • manually upload the databases (if there are any) through PHPMyAdmin
    • For email - it'd probably be the easiest to recreate the email accounts, and use an imapsync tool to migrate that data

Hi Lauren, Thank you so much for the reply. The explanation is a little harder than I had hoped.. Is this something cPanel support could carry out for me? Thanks.

Hi @glenn0 This specific request is a little involved, I agree. This is not something cPanel support would be able to do, we do support migrations from other panels to cPanel and compromised systems to new servers but you'd need root access for any of that. Your hosting provider should be able to provide assistance with this.

Hi @cPanelLauren This isn't something my hosting provider will help with and Ican't afford admin charges to get somebody to do it for me. When you have time, could you possibly go into a little more detail for each step? I'll then see if I can fathem everything out and get it moved. Thank you.

Hi @glenn0 I can certainly try, it might be easiest if you can tell me the parts that you're unsure of first.

Hi @cPanelLauren , Thank you very much! I have now lost access to the reseller hosting but have full backups of all the domains that matter. I will upload them to the shared hosting account and start working down your process and post back here with any problems or questions. Thanks.

What is the best way to migrate each domain from the old server to the new keeping everything as they currently are?

The best way, is of course to use the transfer tool, but if this isn't available/you don't have root access to the server you can create a back up of the account and restore it to the new server. Restoring the backup would recreate the domain on the new server the same way as it was on the old one.
