You'll need to change the ones set to inherit and therefore using PHP v5.6 to actually specify using v5.6 - this doesn't take long in the PHP manager in WHM as you can sort by PHP version. You can switch the default version to 7.3 which will be used for all newly created accounts.

Exactly as @PenguinInternet states, domains set to inherit will inherit the system's default version. So if you set them to 5.6 specifically then set the system default to 7.3, new domains by default will get the inherited/system default version.

Thank you, it worked. There was a minor issue, if i manually change a single domain php version in MultiPHP Manager, the sorting order reverts to default and the pagination goes back to page 1 . Also, the browser freezes if i set more than 50 in page size.

The reordering is a part of how that UI functions but the freezing sounds like a memory issue, and I'd be curious to see how much memory the system has available when it freezes like that.

I don't remember exact values. The total memory of Local system is 8 GB with around 20 chrome tabs open at that time(processor is around 8yrs old dualcore). The server has total of 32 GB with 16GB free. Later i tried on another system, and it worked well without any issues even at 100 entries per page

What it has total is not relevant unfortunately, it's what's running at the time the issue occurred and what the available/usage is.
