Cannot access mail from cPanel, password resets do not work
I've got a domain that has a number of old email accounts. We want to check them out before migrating away. When I go into cPanel > Email Accounts and click on Check Email I'm prompted to reset the password due to security level. The old passwords are long gone, so I reset the passwords in the Manage area. When I go back to Check Email I'm still getting the page to reset the password. If I log in to the account directly at webmail.domain.com, the new password works fine, after which point I can access the account from cPanel without the password like normal.
Clearly something's being reset behind the scenes when I log in, but rather than go through that whole process for 40 accounts is there a way to just clear them all at once so I can log in to each one from cPanel easily?

Changing the strength level for passwords just throws a different error: Security Policy Handling Failed Please attempt to log in again. 0 -
That sounds like there may be a caching issue occurring. There's no way to force change all the users passwords natively. What's output in the cPanel error logs in regard to this? You can find them at /usr/local/cpanel/logs/error_log
