VPS with cPanel, anything else do I need?
Forgive me if its a too basic question. I have never run a server before so.
If I buy a VPS with cPanel, then will it be enough to run the server smoothly. I mean shall cPanel alone take care of all the security updates and patches? Or, something else too I need? I will be running my site on plain LAMP. And hosting provider is giving a discount on VPS and also providing a cPanel license with it.

You can get by but there is quite a bit to running a server security wise over and above what cPanel is going to configure for you. 0 -
