Can I use cpanel on some accounts only?

hello, I lease a VPS linux server with WHM, and CLOUDLINUX 7.7 kvm [web] v84.0.20 for some years now. Currently, I have approx 60 accounts all with cpanel licences. However, since the price policy change of cpanel, maintaining the premier monthly price (up to 100) is very difficult for me now. I only need cpanel on 5 accounts, and my question is: Is it even possible to run cpanel only on selected accounts? (5) If yes: What will happen to the rest of the accounts that will not have Cpanel licences? Thank you!

  You can delete inactive domains and use them as addon domains. Addon domains are not included in the number of accounts.

  It's the server that has the licence, not the accounts, and if there are more cPanel accounts than the licence allows then none of the accounts work.

  As @quietFinn noted it's the server not the accounts. Account based licensing does not mean you license each account, it's tiered pricing based on the number of accounts you have. If you have 60 accounts but you are indicating that you only *need* five, you could add the rest of those domains as addon domains to one/several of the accounts.

  I was afraid of that. I tried 1 account as addon domain, no problem. But as you already know it is too much work.. Thank you for your answers, I will gradually try to limit accounts by addon domains... (In my opinion this price policy change --> up to 5 accounts - up to 30 accounts - up to 100 accounts is very crude ... but this is a philosophical - off topic observation..)
