New user cannot log in to Cpanel

Hey there, I need to access Cpanel to load WordPress for a new site for my client. The client has sent me an invitation three times to access the Cpanel and each time I set a password then try to log in I get "the Login is Invalid" message. I've tried on three different ip addresses. Invitation Confirmation Login is invalid Any thoughts? Thanks in advance
