    If you have cPanel why are you trying to install from source? Just log into WHM and go the the Mysql Update area and install that way.

    This was actually going to be my question as well. cPanel doesn't support installing MySQL/MariaDB this way and with the upgrade interface, there's not really a reason to do so as far as I am aware. We offer v10.3 of MariaDB so it's not as though you'd be getting a different/newer version either. If you must install it this way you'll need to work with a system administrator further.
