Is server without CSF secure?

I am not using CSF. Without it is the server safe?

  would neve run any server without some sort of firewall or restictions to ports attacks are numerous & happen 24/7 7 days a week

  A server is not safe without a firewall, is it then CSF or some other.

  Technically iptables or firewalld come installed by default, so you are indeed using a firewall - but is it being utilized, is the real question to be asking. If you don't know how to manage a firewall over the command line, I would recommend you install some form of firewall management software like CSF or APF (APF does not integrate with cPanel in the same way as CSF) or even some other management system.
