Credentials cyber security
Hi guys. I'm not sure if this is the correct forum to post to or but if its not please to the administrator's please correct it.
I'm very concerned with how we still handle our very essential data online and yes we as end users have little to nothing we can do because currently there's no system or tool we can use to better secure our Accounts.
We all uses browser to login to our websites and for those who manages many websites or those who prefer to just visit a website and the credentials be provided, as well as those who share their computers with other people. Many don't know the risk behind and some do know it but it just that there's nothing they can do but to relay on the server to protect their data.
When you have set your browser to remember your passwords, your passwords can be seen by anyone and when you type your passwords to your browser someone might see it in various ways please see BRIWPED on YouTube for those ways.
Some websites don't have their Apps to allow you to take control on your account login activities but relay on emails and SMSs but we all know the new trending SIM swop scam where hackers now target your SIM cards so that they take control over the SMSa you receive when they hack you.
As we are in the 4IR this is a very serious challenge that needs to be addressed fast. What I'm here for is to discuss BRIWPED with Cpanel as BRIWPED instantly encrypt passwords as soon as the user is done typing it or as soon as the browser supplies it when you have set your browser to remember it.
BRIWPED encrypt passwords instantly and also instantly sends you a notification to your phone while the login activity is still loading and the BRIWPED App gives you the ability to instantly stop that login if you indicate that it not you.
The Stopped login activity will never be granted again that because BRIWPED protect your passwords based on that browser and your actual password is encrypted for good in a since that only the level 3 hash code is used and level 2 hash code is used which level 2 is a ready encrypted password hash.
The user passwords is only known by the owner only and not even the server will ever get it that ensures that even if there was someone managed to hack your network packets but they never get your actual passwords.
This is something which we think Cpanel might want to consider to ensure that Cpanel users are also safe.
Where can we get hold of Cpanel to partner in this sense if anyone know.
Thank you.
