Varnish cache installation
I try to install Varnish Cache. Is it supported by cPanel developers as it is not only installation but the latest repositories and dependencies By default varnish runs in port no. 6021 and we need to change the port no.to 80.

I would forget about this. Varnish natively only runs on port 80, and most sites are using SSL now so you get no real benefit. Plus it does not integrate with cPanel natively. There are a couple of plugins like Enginetron that privide this functionality but we never found them to be reliable. If you really want to boost web site performance, get Litespeed. 0 -
I'd second the recommendation for litespeed, not only that but Varnish is not supported by cPanel it is unsupported, and you'd find that we are limited in our ability to provide assistance with issues relating to 3rd party software that is unsupported. If you really want to, install varnish you can change its listening port in the configuration, this is detailed in a number of tutorials for installing varnish on cPanel that are readily available with a google search. 0 -
