Kernel update
The system kernel is at version "2.6.32-754.23.1.el6.x86_64", but the system is configured to boot version "2.6.32-754.27.1.el6.x86_64".
Should we reboot in this case or it will be but the next WHM update refreshed such update?

You can only load a new kernel on a reboot. Or you can use kernelcare which sideliads kernel patches and not worry about rebooting. This is a commercial product from CloudLinux. We use on all our managed servers just for this reason. 0 -

cPanel updates will not update the working kernel version. A yum update is run during updates and a new kernel may be installed but the system must be rebooted into that new kernel in order to use it, unless you use KernelCare or something similar.0 -
