Keep getting alerts for "Software Security Notice - Script installs need upgrading" for non-existent installs

Hello, I keep getting daily alerts for a WordPress installation, of which was originally created via cPanel, though no longer exists. Although it appears someone had deleted this by simply removing the physical files and database, cPanel must have a record somewhere through the Software feature thinking this still exists and is out of date. How can I terminate that record? This WordPress is long gone and completely unrequired. Thanks, Adam

  Hello, Is the site listed at cPanel>>Applications>>Wordpress Manager? If you select "Discover Sites" does that information change? If not and if you're sure the files at the location noted no longer contain the installation in question here you can go to /home/$user/.cpaddons/ and find the yaml file that represents it and remove it. This should stop the notification

  Thanks for your reply Lauren. It was indeed listed and I had already tried discover sites though that didn't work, but removing the definition from ".cpaddons" should do the trick. :) -- Edit: Not seeing a notice for this in our sysadmin mailbox this morning, looks like it worked.
