You did not specify your versions of MySQL, but if you need MySQL 5.5/5.6, you need to make adjustments before you install cPanel. If you host offers a recover console, I would just have them install your OS and then you handle the cPanel install. See: Installation Guide - Customize Your Installation - Version 70 Documentation - cPanel Documentation For more details on customizing the install. I just had to do this not long ago.

I absolutely would follow the recommendation provided by @rackaid @HostNoc the method you're suggesting would not be the best practice nor would it be supported. [QUOTE]You can configure the version of MySQL" or MariaDB" to use in the /root/cpanel_profile/cpanel.config file"s mysql-version key before you install cPanel & WHM. However, we do not support the configuration of existing installations of cPanel & WHM.
The newer documentation on customizing your installation would be here: Customize Your Installation | cPanel & WHM Documentation Keep in mind that v86 does not support MySQL prior to 5.7 (per: cPanel Deprecation Plan | cPanel & WHM Documentation) so if you need MySQL 5.5 you must use the LTS tier.
