How create hook that will display a text warning in the browser on the current page before performing the action?
I need to create a hook that will display a text warning in the browser on the current page before performing the action. Tell me in what documentation this is described. Thanks!

The hoooks documentation here would be a good start: Tutorial - Create a Standardized Hook - Developer Documentation - cPanel Documentation You might also want to look at our developer documentation guide as a whole here: Developer Documentation Home - Developer Documentation - cPanel Documentation and the Quickstart Development Guide here: Quickstart Development Guide - Developer Documentation - cPanel Documentation 0 -
I'm in the same boat. We set up a notice using cPanel & WHM news, but our students don't click on the notification. We are trying to just fire a simple Javascript Modal window when they successfully login. In our case, we resell to 8,000+ active users who are students/staff/faculty and need an easy way to put maintenance notices. 0 -
Hello @yodigital, We set up a notice using cPanel & WHM news, but our students don't click on the notification.
Are you aiming to receive read confirmation from each individual cPanel account? Thank you.0 -
Hi @cPanelMichael Read confirmation is not needed. Our students are unlikely to pay attention to the notification icon in the top right of the home screen We are looking for an easy way to present a modal window upon them logging into cPanel, which states about upcoming downtime. 0
