Activating mb_ereg_replace()

Hello - hope you're well. It appears we need to add the following to our hosting account: mb_ereg_replace() We looked around at some tutorials on how to add it via: WHM ==> EasyApache4 cPanel ==> PHP PEAR Packages But none of those tutorials seem to be up to date. The screens and options we see are different. Is there an "official" walk-through for this? Thanks! George
