Server quota error
I have exceeded my disk quota in Cpanel and need to remove enough data to allow plugin install (WooCommerce) and transfering my site to Bluehost. Any attempt to install or move files I get the following:
Update Failed: The package could not be installed. PCLZIP_ERR_BAD_FORMAT (-10) : Unable to find End of Central Dir Record signature
My question is: can I delete all of the data in public/html or is there a way for file manager to identify the appropriate files for deletion. Using WooCommerce support they wanted me to use a ftp client to upload and edit the wp-config.php file to perform automatic deletion of what I assume are items for in my store causing data quota error.
I am bit behind the learning curve and would welcome suggestions.
Thanks and Best Regards

There are no tools that will automatically delete information from your site's document root. If you go to cPanel>>Disk Usage (on the right hand side)-> It should provide you output on where all the disk space is allocated. From there you can go directly to the folders and look at the files. 0 -
Hi, i have a similar issue. I setup my domain last week. My web hosting service provider has provided cpanel (86.0 build 16) for managing the domain and website. During the last week i was familiarizing myself with RVsitebuilder 7 and playing around with different themes and looks. I have not put in any of my content on the website. I noticed my disk space usage was quickly growing on daily basis. By yesterday it had exceeded my limit of 500MB. i had to upgrade to a bigger space package (2GB). File manager shows that rvsitebuildercms is taking up 492MB out of 525MB disk space currently. Public_html is only 18MB Now that i have an idea of the look i want is it possible to delete the rvsitebuildercms files and public_html and start afresh? There is nothing of value on the site so nothing need to be backed up. The only thing i did on cpanel was to configure email to my gmail account. 0 -
You can remove anything inside the public_html without affecting the usability in the future if you are not concerned with the data that is present currently. I don't know the file structure of this 3rd party software or where it is stored but if you're not interested in continuing to use it you can remove the files associated with it or uninstall the plugin. 0
