Not all mail in spam is spam

    Hello, There are a few issues with this configuration. 1. any time you forward email like this to Gmail or another provider spam also gets forwarded.
    • Because Gmail sees the email as coming from your server it begins to mark your domain/IP as spam
    • Eventually, if the issue persists you will find that your email can even be blocked to Gmail.
    • The best resolution for this is to use Gmail as a mail client for the email address.
    2. This issue could be worsened if you don't have standard mailserver DNS configuration for spam implemented. Namely, SPF, DKIM, and a valid PTR. This is discussed here: How to Keep Your Email Out of the Spam Folder | cPanel & WHM Documentation

    Thanks for your suggestion. Have now setup Gmail as mail client and it works. Very pleased!
