Failed to mount /backup fstab configuration
Hi,
My server is not booting up and datacentre told me that
My server is not booting up for the following reason
Failed to mount /backup
Please verify your fstab configuration.
Can you tell me how to unmount this and solve the issue ?

IF you don't have a backup mount then it'd need to be removed from fstab if you do have a mount named /backup the following should unmount it umount(8) - Linux manual page. You'll have to boot into rescue mode, to do this if the server isn't booting normally. Your datacenter should be able to assist you with this as you'd need console access. 0 -
Can I do boot using IPMI network provided by ioflood datacentre ? 0 -
I would not know the answer to that, unfortunately. You'd need to ask them. 0 -
Can you tell me after booting in rescue mode, where i can find the fstab file to edit ? I can see default fstab but it is not showing my server fstab file. 0 -
The file should be located at /etc/fstab0
