Email deletion

Simple question--If I delete an email from a user's inbox in cPanel, will it also be deleted from their phone's Mail app?

  If they are using IMAP (Which is the case in 99.9% of default phone set ups) yes.

  How about if they are POP3?

  If they are using POP3 it doesn't synchronize between devices as IMAP does, this is the major difference between the two. POP3 by default downloads the email from the server to the device you're using to check your email, where IMAP synchronizes.
