SMTP error from remote mail server after end of data: 550 [TPH-1556] - Message is rejected due to filtering restrictions
Hello everybody.
One of my clients is getting this error when he tries to send an email to a client of his:
"SMTP error from remote mail server after end of data: 550 [TPH-1556] - Message is rejected due to filtering restrictions"
Both domains (sender/receiver) are not blacklisted.
What the error might mean?

This is a filter imposed (i'd assume on the recipient server) - some part of the email your client is sending is triggering the filter to bounce the email back to you. Since you according to your profile you're a website owner you won't have access to the exim mail logs but if you could add the information available at cPanel>>Email>>Track Delivery the (i) image under Actions should provide Delivery Event Details which would be helpful. 0 -
Thanks for your reply. I hope this is the info. 0 -
Hello, That confirms my theory, the recipient server is rejecting your client's email as a result of email filtering they have in place there. The only way around this is to send mail from a domain that doesn't trigger their filter or request they make an allowance for the domain. 0 -
Ok thanks, will try to do that. 0
