Terminal in WHM

Hi I am wondering about the mechanism in which the terminal in WHM works, is it treaded as an SSH session that is initiated by the browser? Thx.

  Thank you, I was about to ask you when I saw your answer from a previous post of using: tail -f /var/log/secure to check the log. I figured the problem :), that command was so on point.
