Changing main server IP (bound to cPanel licence)
Hello.
Long story short:
I have a cPanel server with 3 IP:
111.111.111.111 (bound to cPanel license)
111.111.111.112
111.111.111.113
Murphy decided that in a dozen of days or so I'll need to move the main IP (111.111.111.111) to another server, so before to do it I need to "move" current cPanel license from 111.111.111.111 to 111.111.111.112
The question is: is it sufficient to go on store.cpanel.net and edit the IP referred to the cPanel license, or will I need to do anything also on the server?!?!

After updating the IP address at the cpanel store, run the following command: /usr/local/cpanel/cpkeyclt on the server to update WHM. I don't know how long the cPanel store takes to update its database so you might have to wait a bit before running that command. 0 -
After changing the ipcfg-ethxxx file in network-scripts, simply run the cpkeyclt command. But if you change license the ip frequently, your license and ip address will be locked. 0 -
