Feature suggestion
Hi. I would like to offer a feature suggestion for the File Manager in cPanel to allow you to upload more than one file at a time instead of just one file at a time. When I moved to a different host it took me a very long time uploading all of the files to public_html via FTP. Where's if I had the option to select more than one file via the File Manager I would have not had all of the FTP overhead and my files would have been uploaded a lot faster.
Thanks for your time.

Hello, We value suggestions and feature requests but they should be done in the appropriate place to get the most attention. I'd suggest you go to our feature request site by using the link in my signature to make this request. 0 -
Do I need to register there now too? 0 -
Created an account and added my suggestion. Thanks. 0 -
Thank you! Sorry about the multiple logins, we're working on getting single sign-on but it's not here yet. 0 -
Hi, Thanks for your feature suggestion! We agree that the ability to upload a folder would be a great addition to File Manager. It already supports the ability to upload multiple files via drag and drop. 0 -
@Keymaker Just a short term suggestion. If you are moving servers: - In file manager, go into the public_html folder - Choose compress (to create a zip or tar file - Copy the compress fine to the new server in the public_html folder - Use file manage to uncompress Typically it's a whole lot faster to upload a single large compressed file vs. 100's (or 1000's) of little files. We use that method to migrate non-cPanel accounts to cPanel and we've found it much faster than ftp/sftp upload of the individual files. 0
