Adding/Enabling PHP 7.4 via EasyApache
Hello,
Today I installed cPanel on a VPS and I noticed PHP version 7.4 is available in EasyApache. I assume you guys officially added this version.
Now, I have 20 other servers that are running on CloudLinux + cPanel, when I go to easyapache, I don't see the PHP 7.4 version for enabling.
I also ran /scripts/upcp "force but not luck.
How can I add php version 7.4 to EasyApache?
Thank you

Hello, If you're using CloudLinux ea-php74 will be available when they update their repositories. On CentOS servers this is available via our EA4 repositories. 0 -
Cloudlinux has the php 7.4 long before cPanel adds it. The problem is I can't see the php 7.4 in EasyApache. While the php selector have the php 7.4 enabled, so I can't enable any extension for this version which results in not working properly when it is selected by the user. 0 -
Cloudlinux had alt-php74 prior to cPanel having it. They have not yet added ea-php74 to their repositories. Since you have CloudLinux you need to use their alt-php74 PHP and extensions until they make ea-php74 available. 0
