From GoDaddy shared hosting to VPS
Hello All,
I have a client I re-built a website for in WordPress and was going to host this website using my VPS and c panel. I realized they had so many email accounts in their existing shared hosting with Go Daddy that I decided to just keep the website there. The issue I have now is that the website is very slow at times and I have a very hard time updating to do the hosting abilities.
Is there a safe way to migrate the website and all email accounts from a Go Daddy shared hosting using c panel to a VPS using c panel? The website is easy to do, its all those emails I am worried about.
Thanks in advance for all your help!
Steve

The ease of transferring accounts is one of the advantages of cPanel. You may not have all the access you need on the GoDaddy side to use the full site backup using cPanel on the GoDaddy end, and then restore it in WHM on your VPS. Those documentation links show that there have been some changes in v. 88, so you may need to adjust the method based on the version of cPanel each side is using. 0 -
