    What is the output you're getting in the error logs when attempting to go to the redirected page? You can see these in cPanel at cPanel>>Metrics>>Errors

    just tried it.. nothing is log... it seems that it just ignores my redirection..

    I'd suggest discussing this with your hosting provider. When you create a redirect in cPanel it adds the rewrite code to your .htaccess file. If this behavior isn't creating the redirect properly it'd be due to some configuration on the server or in relation to the domain which your provider would be able to identify/assist you with.

    Hello, thanks for your reply.. found the issue. When u create a redirect from cpanel is was inserting it at the wrong order in htaccess... it was at the end of htaccess instead being before the index.. Thank you

    I'm not sure I understand, which index? It's pretty standard for the redirects to be added to the end of the .htaccess file
