FTP making connection but not listing directory on Dedicated IP only
I appear to be able to connect according to the connections in Cpanel but cannot list the directory on a dedicated IP address only. All the sites on the shared IP address are working fine for FTP. I have been through this forum several times but cannot find a solution. I have tried Filezilla and WS FTP but they just sit and spin.
Filezilla indicates:
When I look in FTP Connections in cpanel, I have to delete it to disconnect. It also says it's connected but idle. Is there something different about a dedicated IP address vs. all the sites on the shared IP I can get to? Also it had worked previously - it just did this in past month. If it matters, it's a centos 7.8 running with 86.0.20 WHM/Cpanel.

There shouldn't be any reason you can't use FTP on the dedicated IP - you can check out FTP Server Configuration | cPanel & WHM Documentation but it sounds like the port isn't open - is the server NAT routed? 0 -
Aren't the settings server-wide? I can connect on any and all sites on the main shared IP address - just not the site that has a dedicated IP address on the same server. 0 -
Generally speaking, they are yes the exception would be if the server was NAT routed which is why I asked. 0
