Delegation of a subdomain
Hi,
I've created a web hosting provider and I want to offer to my customers some subdomain of my main domain.
But on WHM I don't find how to add an subdomain on an account.
If I add dns zone to this account, he can't create site directly on this subdomain.
Is there a way to add a subdomain to an account where the main domain doesn't belong to it?
PS: without allowing "Allow cPanel users to create subdomains across accounts " for security reason.
Thank you in advance

You would want to create the account itself as the subdomain you want to give to them. Then if they have a regular domain they also want to use you could park it or add it as an add-on domain. 0 -
The only way to do that is to enable one of the following: Allow cPanel users to create subdomains across accounts Allow WHM users to create subdomains across accounts 0 -
Thanks so much for your replies. You would want to create the account itself as the subdomain you want to give to them. Then if they have a regular domain they also want to use you could park it or add it as an add-on domain.
I would like add this subdomain on an existing account. The only way to do that is to enable one of the following: Allow cPanel users to create subdomains across accounts Allow WHM users to create subdomains across accounts
Too bad the root can't add a domain to an account. I'll try to make me an addon for this...0
