fresh installation WHM on VPS redirects to cgi-sys/defaultwebpage.cgi
I have bought a VPS from ovh with cPanel integrated. So there is no way I misconfigured something, the company did it for me.
After I access my WHM root and I create a cPanel user, I'm not able to access files in the public_html folder. I get redirected to (VPS_IP)/cgi-sys/defaultwebpage.cgi . Of course, I created an index.html into the public_html folder.
The only information I could suspect, it's the created cPanel account shared IP is the same of the main VPS IP. Could it be the problem? If yes, how to solve it?
Note: I searched for days everywhere on the web, no solution. Also because my distribution has been setup with the VPS, they installed it for me. And I'm exluding DNS problems since even the IP is being redirected to that apache page.

This ususally means that the domain you are using does not resolve to the same IP that the server thinks it is for. Look in list accounts and see wha the domain is, check the spelling and if the spelling is correct, check the IP it is assigned to and make sure your DNS resolution matches. 0 -
The domain resolves correctly to the server IP. DNS are correctly propagated. But the problem is still there. 0 -
This is almost always a DNS/IP address issue. Feel free to open a ticket with us and we'll look into it further for you. 0
