Cache deleting from public_html directory

Dear members, can i delete "cache folder" from my public_html directory of my website? One plugin not functioning properly so I want to delete it.   That folder isn't related to cPanel at all so we wouldn't be able to tell you if you can delete it or not.

  I suppose you have a MyBB installation. Check the MyBB/script docs to see if it is ok to delete it.
