Symlinks blocked by CageFS
Hi
We're trying to have symlinks from one account to another. The main account we'll call the master.
But they don't work / can't be seen, our host think it's due to CageFS blocking them.
We'd like to keep the security of CageFS, is there a way to explicitly allow certain folders? We only have a few we need to allow.
Many thanks
Dave

That's not going to work with the accounts in CageFS at all as far as I know you can exclude specific files but i don't know that this will give you the behavior you're looking for CloudLinux OS components 0 -
Thanks for your reply. Would it work if the main account was outside of CageFS? 0 -
Hello, You can take common user files from the home directory to a separate directory by specifying the path in /etc/cagefs/cagefs.mp. But the rights to files will need to be limited with linux permissions so that the files are not accessible to outsiders. The documentation will also be useful to you here CloudLinux OS components.
