AddTrust External CA Root
We use InCommon certificates for our cPanel servers. With the impending demise of the AddTrust External CA Root on Saturday, I've been looking over our certificates. Many of the "combined" chain files have the expiring cert at the end of the chain. Likewise, I've noted that when installing new certs, WHM is inserting a bundle into the GUI that contains that expiring root. The documentation says the bundle is pulled from a public repository.
Is that repository going to be updated?
Is there a way in cPanel/WHM to modify the combined files to remove the expiring cert? I could script it pretty quick to re-assemble with the new one, but I'm wondering if there's a piece of the puzzle I'm missing in terms of the way certs are managed in cPanel.
Thanks for any thoughts.
