I am getting the exact same error after the last update. It's impossible to create or delete a subdomain. I get the following error after it times out: There was a problem creating the sub-domain: (XID 4em78w) (XID drujpz) The system failed to connect a UNIX domain socket to "/var/cpanel/dnsadmin/sock" because of an error: No such file or directory at /usr/local/cpanel/Cpanel/Admin/Modules/Cpanel/subdomain.pm line 176.

I'd suggest that you also open a ticket as I requested the last user do as well. Once open please reply with the Ticket ID here so that we can update this thread with the resolution once the ticket is resolved. Thanks! 0 -
I got the same error, i didnt noticed until i tried to change some DNS zones. Nothing works properly, not editing DNS Zones, not creating new accounts, etc..this is very bad for business. It happens on my server that has been running for a while. But in my Google Cloud VM instance that is new its working fine. 0 -
Here is an image after clicking Edit DNS Zone. 0 -
And did you open a ticket as requested of the prior users here @Enrique Delavau 0 -
Lauren i coulnt, it was a critical issue i had no time. Moved the entire site to a new machine with a fresh cPanel installation, no issue. 0 -
Either way I'm glad you were able to move forward @Enrique Delavau 0
